Even the most motivated students can lose momentum over the summer. Disengagement during large breaks can lead to measurable skill decline—particularly in math and reading—which can make the return to rigorous fall sessions feel like starting from scratch.
Without a clear baseline to measure their current skills, you risk neglecting areas that need improvement.
That’s why a summer’s-end diagnostic is so important. By administering SAT® or ACT® practice tests right after break, you capture a precise snapshot of each student’s current strengths and weaknesses.
